As a follow up to last week’s 11-minute read into how I design bathroom lighting, I bring you now, the lights themselves.
Style is so personal but OH MY GOODNESS do people love a trend in a bathroom. I’d argue that bathrooms are the worst place to follow trends because once a bathroom is in it’s so…immovable. So permanent. So costly to rectify in ten years when it looks dated. With that in mind, while I try to ere on the side of classic and timeless with most things, this is especially important for things that are installed like bathrooms, lighting and bathroom lighting.
My personal style is to design bathrooms that are relatively warm and feel like just another room in the house. I also have a thing for slightly industrial fixtures, especially lights. That said, there are some gems here for everybody. OK, so let’s get into my favourite fixtures for every spot in the bathroom at every price point and why I love them.
