I am asked all the live long day how to go about buying marble. So many people want to know how to buy or even just look at slabs and off-cuts of natural stone like marble.

I’m not sure at what point this information became a secret, but it’s clear from the number of questions I get about it (and also my pure ignorance before joining the design world) that this is not public knowledge.

I have purchased a fair amount of stone in my day; a few slabs for myself, and many, many more for clients. So here, my friends, is how you do it.*
