As I wrote in my last post about floating shelves, kitchen lighting is absolutely key and so easy to get wrong. I planned to run a floating shelf the length of the kitchen specifically so I could embed a hidden LED light strip in it for proper task lighting. The shelf + LED strip combination is the result of a lot of research and asking for help and the result is, well, exactly what we needed.
