What's In My (Skincare) Drawer?

This post is a weird one for me because this is a topic I know very little about.

I do not purport to be a skincare expert. I hardly knew what I was supposed to be doing to my face besides rinsing it with water and using moisturiser until a few years ago — let’s be honest, I still have no idea what I’m doing! — which is exactly why I find it so interesting. I feel weirdly vulnerable sharing this post but I figure that I can’t be the only one who wants to know what products people are using and why. So I’m starting by sharing.

I’m unusual in that I don’t “do my face” in the bathroom. I gave myself an alcove of our bedroom — the one near the window — for my vanity, and in that vanity there are two drawers for all my potions and lotions, concealers and correctors. In this episode of (a new series I’m calling) What’s …
